“Set your goals high and dont stop until you get there”-Bo Jackson. Pushing yourself to the limit and setting your sights high is essential for growth, but making sure you set little goals along the way is also essential for growth! When you’re putting in hard work everyday to achieve your goals you have to have grit, consistency, and commitment to the cause, because if you don’t then it will be easy to give up when you get discouraged in the everyday monotony of putting in hard work everyday. Its so important to take a step back everyday and check yourself! Why are you doing this? Who am I doing this for? and why is it so important to stick with it everyday?! Because if you aren’t in it 100% then it will be easy to quit! Why do we keep so many commitments to other people and not keep commitments to ourselves? Keeping your everyday commitments to yourself shows you that you love YOURSELF just as much if not more than others around you! If you don’t love yourself enough to keep the small promises to yourself everyday to acheive your BIG goals and dreams, then how are you going to acheive the BIG goals?!
I dare you to push yourself during those boring daily routines that get you to where you want to be, or when you just want to give up, or you just need to keep all your obligations to other people…. YOU are IMPORTANT! Aim as high as the sky, but dont forget to start from ground up and finish strong, staying as true to yourself as you can every single day, thats what counts!
