Mountain climbers are not the funnest exercise ever invented, but they are seriously powerhouse when wanting to get a full body workout in one little exercise! They are both a calisthenic and cardio workout all at once, so it benefits both your muscles and cardio all at the same time. When doing this exercise it benefits your arm muscles, your core, and your legs all at once! The largest shoulder muscles its working is your deltoid, while also working your triceps and your abs and back to sustain the core, and down to the lower regions its working your quads, hip flexors, muscles, and buttocks!
So next time you want to complain because your trainer is making you do more mountain climbers, instead be grateful that your trainer wants to put you through one little move that will work all that at once! Its only because they love you that they make you suffer haha!
