345 pounds! Well, 344.8 to be exact. That’s what I weighed in at yesterday when I finally started to take Kelli’s advice and try the Ketogentic diet. I’ve worked out for years, and I’ve never had to watch what I eat: My body just seemed to stay between 290 and 300 pounds with working out 5 times a week. So when I got on the scale yesterday, I was totally shocked to see my weight had ballooned up to 345 pounds!My first day on the Keto Diet coupled with Pruvit’s Keto Max and Keto Orange Dream has been really promising. I’m down 4.6 pounds! I made some pretty big changes with my diet too:
- No soda at all! This was the hardest part for me :-/
- For lunch, I had Pei Wei’s Kung Pao Chicken, but I substituted lettuce for the rice
- For dinner, Kelli and I wen’t to a Healthy Eating restaurant where I ordered a chicken salad and soup
The combination of healthy eating choices and the Keto drinks looks to be a winning combination for me. I weighed in today at 340.2! 4.6 pounds lost feels great! I still have a long ways to go, but I’m excited for the journey.
