Still going strong! My workouts went well this week. It’s getting easier to run a full mile, and I actually just got back from a 2-mile run with Jack and Roxy (Roxy rode her bike). I feel great, and feel the energy that I used to have for life returning.
Having a keto-friendly stocked house is still a challenge, so I’m still surrounded with chips and snacks for the boys. But, Kelli has been an awesome support. Kelli puts a nice salad with a cut-up boiled egg and avocado in my lunch every day – which helps me out a ton!
I’m still drinking tons of water, but I have to confess to a Diet Coke on Friday for lunch. It’s getting easier to find food at restaurants that’s keto friendly for me to eat. At Apollo Burger, I got a grilled chicken salad. At the best pizza place in Utah (The Pie), I got their Chicken Caesar salad. Watch out for this salad though. They pack their salad full of delicious croutons. I left most of them uneaten :).
