Another 3 pounds down gets me closer to my 250 pound goal. 38 more pounds, and I’ll be the weight that I was when Kelli and I were first married living down in St. George! Being newly married, a full time student, holding a job, and playing football for Dixie, I justified eating fast food back then. I could put down a ton of calories because I had three hours of practice every day, and I rode my bike to/from work. But, after football was over for me, I kept the poor eating habits. I didn’t make any changes to my “diet”, and I totally went sedentary. This “lifestyle” is what ballooned me up to 350 pounds, and I felt like crap. I couldn’t sleep well, I was always craving fast food or sodas, and I just felt miserable. Guys…get yourself out of that rut. Make a few small healthy changes like going on walks with your family: don’t refill your 32 ounce soda when you leave the restaurant. Do theses simple things for a month and you’ll see your “happy/healthy” self come out!
